A large number of Pyrenees ski resorts that hoped to open this weekend have had to postpone the first days skiing due to poor conditions.

 

In the Hautes-Pyrenees the following ski resorts have opened :

 

Downhill

Cauterets – 75%

Luz-Ardiden – 50%

Piau-Engaly  – 80%

Domaine du Tourmalet (Barèges-La Mongie)  – 50%

 

Cross-country

Cauterets / Pont d’Espagne – 100%

Val d'Azun – 70%

Nistos – 60%

 

 

In the Ariege the following have opened :

 

Cross-country

Beille – 70%
