Launch of Euroferries cross channel service delayed

The first Euroferries sailing which was planned for this Saturday has been cancelled.

A spokeswoman said it was because of problems beyond their control, nothing to do with the boat or Euroferries side of things. It is to do with getting the boat in and out of the ports.  The service was originally due to launch in March, but various setbacks forced a delay to September and then November.

As the company had already taken bookings, the spokeswoman said those who have already booked will be offered compensation to include free travel or free upgrades to first class.  The company hopes to start the service very soon and updates will be available on their website.

The company apologised for the inconvenience and will be emailing all currently booked passengers.  Check the Euroferries website for updates.
