Description:
French deer hunter banned for two years by Toulouse court.
A deer hunter has been stripped of his hunting licence following a deer hunt that ended in the animal being slaughtered in a family kitchen.
Jerome Lagarrigue's hounds had been tracking the animal in a forest near to the village of Larroque in the Tarn department, when it became panicked and fled in to the village followed by the hunt.
The stag burst into a village home, causing extensive damage as well as frightening the family, including two children. Eventually the animal was cornered in the kitchen and was killed by one of the hunt followers with a dagger.
Lagarrigue was found guilty of hunting on another persons property. He was ordered to pay 1000€ in damages, a 1000€ fine and stripped of his hunting licence for two years preventing him from leading his hounds.
