French rail strike today, 20th October

Description:

One of the French rail unions is striking today, bring major disruption to the network.  The strike is due to continue until midnight.

Guide2MidiPyrenees publicised the strike on 8th October, although at the time the rail union and SNCF were still in talks.

The revised schedule for today can be found on the SNCF website.

A National day of action is still planned for the 22nd October and will bring strikes from a large number of unions and will again affect the rail network.

Guide2MidiPyrenees will publicise the likely affects of that strike later today in a seperate news article.
