A brand new cat welfare charity has been launched in the Midi-Pyrenees, based in Miramont de Quercy.
Chats du Quercy has been started by Lynn Stone to try to help as many stray and unwanted cats as possible and is now looking for donations and offers of help to take the charity forwards.
The Team We currently have a small enthusiastic team of experienced and dedicated cat welfare volunteers who are eager to launch our new charity.
Our Mission Every day we hear of needy cases that are not finding help. Our mission is to ensure that homes are found for these cats, wherever they may be. This is why your help is essential.

The Task
We aim to open our Rescue and Rehoming Centre in March 2011. We will provide the care and temporary accommodation that cats need to recover and stabilise before finding their new, loving and permanent homes. The initial cost of this project is 6000€.
All offers of help and assistance are gratefully accepted, however small and will all be used to help in the Midi-Pyrenees find new homes.

Cats ready for adoption are regular advertised in our classifieds and in the forum group, so please check regularly if you are looking for a new companion.
