Events in the Midi-Pyrenees of South West France this week 11 June 2010

Vics Big Walk from Puivert in the Aude to Blackpool continues and it would be great if you could show your support by sending Vic a message or even better, donating to the cause.  Vic’s first wife died from pancreatic cancer, so all money raised is going to Pancreatic Cancer Research UK.

Several performance of The Magic Flute are being given in the Theatre du Capitole in Toulouse over the next two weeks.

For lovers of jazz, there are two days of music starting this evening in Marciac as part of the pre-cursor to Jazz in Marciac Festival starting next month.

This weekend is also the annual Fete de la Musique, now in its twenty ninth year with events taking place all over France and the Midi-Pyrenees.

If you like your food spicy, then get over to Maison Wallin.  They are holding a Mexican theme night on the Saturday 26 June.
