Holiday home and gite owners must register with the mairie by 1 July 2010

If you let you let your home as furnished holiday lettings, or run gites, you have until the end of June to register with the Marie or you may face a 450€ fine.

Registration was made compulsory last year and with the deadline fast approaching, holiday home owners should act now.  Ask your mairie for Cerfa form number 14004-01 or download it here.

The form should be returned to the mairie of the commune in which you live.  Owners of chambers d’hotes are already required to register with their mairie.
