Midi Pyrenees drought conditions

Description:

It has been reported that the Midi-Pyrenees region has been affected by drought conditions in certain areas.  Water restriction measures have been put in place in the following departments of the region;

Gers
Tarn-et-Garonne
Tarn
Lot
Aveyron

There are now 43 departments with water restrictions in place and authorities are trying to limit water use by imposing bans on car washing, watering lawns and filling swimming pools.  The map shows the level of restriction in place for each department.

Consult you mairie for specific measures in force.
