Wild Boar trouble in Najac, Aveyron

Farmers in th eNajac area of Aveyron are protesting that an influx of wild boar is seriously damaging their crops as well as lawns and gardens.  The have submitted a petition to the town hall to allow hunting to be carried out as and when required.  Currently the number of days hunting is restricted.

One resident reported seeing a forty strong group of boar, which could seriously damage a garden or crop.  Farmers believe that allowing more regular hunting will reduce the numbers to a manageable level.
