LD Lines launch their new Ramsgate - Ostend ferry service
LD Lines new Ramsgate to Ostend ferry service comes into service on Saturday 27 March 2010. Originally just one passenger vessel was to run on the service, but it has now been announced that a second ship will be operating on the route.
The service takes four hours to complete the crossing and is being launched with a special offer and prices starting from £24 each way for a car and up to five passengers. For added comfort, cabins and sleeper seats are available to book.
Also due to launch soon is the long delayed EuroFerries high speed service from Ramsgate to Boulogne. This service has already been delayed three times, with the last deadline date being 1 March 2010. A company spokeperson has told Guide2MidiPyrenees that a press release is due shortly with details and new launch dates. Guide2MidiPyrenees will keep you up to date with all the developments.
