Snow reports from Midi-Pyrenees ski resorts across the region
With virtually no snow for the past week, but temperatures staying cold, very little has changed regards the snow depths or ski conditions.
Hautacam remains closed and is not likely to reopen this season, Luchon is still only operating fifty percent of its area following the storm damage, but Peyragudes is now back to operating ninety percent of its area.
The temperatures have started to rise this week across the region and it is set to remain warm. Very little if any snow is forecast, with clear skies, warm days and cold nights.
If you want to get up on the slopes, you would be well advised to make it sooner rather than later as conditions are likely to deteriorate from now. It is a great time to hit the slopes, as they are fairly quiet, the sun is likely to be out and a low chance of snow or rain. Fantastic on piste skiing to be had.
Avalanche risk is generally low across the region.
