Snow reports from Midi-Pyrenees ski resorts across the region
Sunday and Monday saw a good level of snowfall across most of the region, with some areas receiving around forty centimetres. This has given the resorts a new lease of life and with temperatures remaining below freezing just about everywhere in the Midi-Pyrenees, the snow is set to last for the rest of this week at least.
Forecasts predict snow on Saturday to give the resorts a welcome top-up and temperatures continuing well below freezing in the mountains.
Hautacam remains closed after the recent storm, Luchon still has only fifty percent of its runs open, but Peyragudes has repaired most of the damage and ninety percent of the resorts is now open.
Avalanche risk is generally low across the region.
