Call to ban aggressive begging in Lourdes

Description:

Lourdes has been a city often frequented by street beggars, much of this due to the kind and giving nature of the many thousands that flock to the city each year on piligrimage.  However, this kindness is now being severly tested with the increase in beggers in the citys streets and in particular begging using children or aggressive tactics.

The council has been called to limit the number of beggers and the areas that which they can beg.
