Pyrenees mountain ski resorts issue powder alerts for the Midi-Pyrenees area.

Snow has been forecast for this weekend since the beginning of the week in the Midi-Pyrenees region and now all the major ski resorts have issued powder alerts for snowfall over the next three days.

Now would be a great time to organise a last minute get away and get some brilliant powder skiing.  The French school holidays have yet to start so the slopes are relatively quiet, accommodation should be reasonably easy to find at a good price and cheap flights are available from both Ryanair and easyJet
