Description:

Constructed in 1900 and rising 473 metres above the city of Lourdes to the summit at 948 m, the 6 minute journey gives access to wonderful views of the surrounding area, including Lourdes, Pau, Tarbes and the Pyrenees.

One way journeys are available, allowing the more athletic the choice of walking one way and taking the train in the other.  For a charge, mountain bikes can also be taken up, allowing an exciting ride back down without the hard work of riding up.

A café is sited at the summit providing light refreshments.
