Piau Engaly is a purpose built ski resort, which lays claim to being the highest resort in the French Pyrenees and having the longest continuous blue run in the Pyrenees. The majority of the resort faces north, giving a good snow record, a long season and usually it is possible to ski right back to the resort.
Piau Engaly caters well for all level of skier, with plenty of blues and reds for cruising and some steeper more testing sections. In addition, there is some excellent off piste fun to be had.
The modern, futuristically styled appartments at the resort offer all that is required for an enjoyable holiday, but if you are looking for a more traditional logings, the town of Saint Lary Soulan is 20 minutes drive down the valley.
