Description:

Peyragudes ski resort is in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park, set between the two villages of Peyresourde and Les Agudes, from which it takes its name.  There is a good mix of runs, with interest for all levels of skier.

From the top, several reds and blues twist and turn through the trees above the two valleys of Louron and Larboust.  Beginners have a selection of greens lower down and there is a border park with half pipe and permanent bordercross course.

Accommodation and nightlife are available, but of the two areas, Peyrasoude has the most to offer, with a greater selection of bars and restaurants along with ski hire and shops right on the piste.  For large town entertainment, the spa town of Bagneres de Luchon is 15 Km to the east and this may be a better choice, allowing good access to other resorts in addition to Luchons après-ski.

Handicapped ski lessons are availabl, ski lifts have been adapted and accomadation has been built for easy access.  Peyragudes has really has made an effort to accomodate the less able skier.
