Gouffre d’Esparros, Hautes-Pyrenees

The gouffre d’Esparros is one of the most beautiful caves in the Pyrenees with a number of chasms and many crystal rock formations, stalactites and stalagmites.  It is located in wonderful but little explored area called the Baronnies.

• Visit duration – 54 minutes
• Six hundred metre discovery walk with sound and light show
• Visits in French, English, Spanish and German
• Lower area and Lake has disabled access
• Advisable to take warm clothing as the gouffre is at a permanent temperature of 13 degrees
