Description:

Botanical gardens close to Tourmalet in the Hautes-Pyrenees department of the Midi-Pyrenees.

The Jardin botanique du Tourmalet was opened in 1996 and is now a two hectare garden that specialises in the flora of the Pyrenees region.  It contains around two and a half thousand species of wild flowers from the Pyrenees.

The gardens are located on the Col du Tourmalet road at the Pont de la Gaubie, four kiometers from Bareges.

Opening hours

May 15 to September 15, daily from 10h to 19h.
