Architecte Sud specialises in ecological and sustainable building design, offering a bi-lingual French-English service.  We undertake new-build, renovation and refurbishment projects at all levels and for all budgets.

 

Sean Rawnsley is a qualified RIBA British architect and also a member of the French Ordre des Architectes. He thus combines working in France to French building norms and with French artisans, with an understanding of the design and choice of finishes that a British client would expect.

Our main geographical area of operation covers the Midi-Pyrénées which includes the regions of Tarn, Tarn et Garonne, Lot, Aveyron, Gers, Ariège but also the Pyrénées-Orientales which includes the Roussillons with such towns as Perpignan and Prades.  Our office is positioned within an hour of Toulouse, Castres, Albi, Montauban and Villefranche de Rouergue but not far from Gaillac and the bastide towns of Castelnau de Montmiral, Cordes sur ciel and Puycelsi.  Our nearest small town is St Antonin Noble Val near Caussade and Caylus.

We offer a full range of architectural services which include:

• Outline Planning Permission (certificat d'urbanisme), planning permission (permis de construire) and déclaration préalable.
• Specifications for builders
• Sourcing of materials and artisans
• Contract tender
• Contract management.

Fees:
Certain consultations and applications for planning permission can be done on a lump sum basis;  if a whole project is envisaged this is usually charged on a percentage basis of the total cost of the job. The rates and options are fully discussed at our initial meeting with the client.

 

Prices quoted would be in Euros excluding TVA (French VAT) which is added on at the current rates.
