Gardening Day
As well as running Guide2, I also have some properties and gardens I look after.
Today, I had to visit one of our best clients - a lovely lady living in a chateau. The plan was to strim the bank behind the house, install some irrigation and some other general garden maintenance.
I have never strimmed this part of the garden before, the owner did it herself last year.
After an hour of swishing and sweating in the 25+ degree temperatures, I had a quick survey of my progress and was less than happy to realise that I had only tackled about the first eighth of the task! This was going to be a long day.
Arriving home this evening and downing a welcome beer, I have the thought that I have to go back and complete the task. Oh, well, keeps me off the streets!
