Our Pyrenees Adventure - Part 3
In my last blog, I mentioned the interrogation we received from one estate agent. Luckily the subsequent meetings were a little less intense!During that first week of viewings in May, we totally underestimated the distances involved and how rural the areas were. We were out from 0830 in the morning until 1900 in the evening viewing and with hindsight it is easy to say that we were trying to do too much.
Some of the viewings were rushed as we knew we were pushed for time to get to the next and by mid-week we were already shattered.
By the end of the week we had seen a great deal of properties, but nothing that matched all our requirements. We realised then it was going to be a long process with many more visits to France.
Only problem was that we were both rapidly running out of holiday time.
We returned home worn out and fell back into work, dreaming of finding the ideal home on our next visit.
