l'Esquerade is a lovely spacious apartment (61sqm) with a south facing terrace and balcony for up to 6 guests (plus a baby). It is ideal for all outdoor activities including skiing, walking, cycling, golf, fishing, rafting and parascending situated just off the Col de Peyresourde (a favourite of the Tour de France).

The apartment lounge and en-suite bedroom have patio doors opening on to the balcony giving wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and mountains.

The dining area also has patio doors onto an 11 sqm south facing terrace which is ideal for eating outside and relaxing in the sunshine.
 
l'Esquerade is a former hotel that has been converted into apartments in 2008. The apartment is spacious and ideally positioned for all outdoor activities in the Pyrenees.
 
There are two bedrooms (one double en-suite) and one twin bedroom and two single sofa beds in the lounge. Two shower rooms (one en-ensuite) and a separate shower room and separate toilet in the hall.
 
Extremely well equipped with everything you need to have an enjoyable holiday.
 
Two ski resorts are within 10 minutes of the apartment Superbagneres and Peyregudes (famous for the filimg of a James Bond film). VTT/cycling and walking/hiking routes start right outside the door to l'Esquerade and there are lakes, thermes/spas, rivers and numerous activities in the region for guests of all ages.
 
The price quoted is for the apartment (not per person) and includes all bed linen, towels, heating and electricity.

Notes on Facilities:     The kitchen is separate with lots of cupboard space and fully equipped with a full size oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.

The apartment is very light and spacious and all rooms have outstanding views of the surrounding countryside and mountains.

l'Esquerade is just outside the small traditional village of Castillon de Larboust off the Col de Peyresourde (a regular col of the Tour de France). Only 7 km from the larger town of Bagneres de Luchon which is known as the Queen of the Pyrenees with its lovely long tree-lined avenue, restaurants, cafe bars, shops and thermal spa.
 
Luchon has everything you need including a Spa, Cinema and Casino and numerous activities for all ages.
 
Castillon de Larboust is just above the famous Lac d'Oo walk which seems to be a 'must do' for the majority of guests.
 
Skiers have a choice of two resorts Superbagneres and Peyregudes. Walkers/hikers, cyclists, motor bikers are spoilt for choice and it is an ideal location for those who love the outdoors and in particular the Pyrenees.
 
Close to the border of Spain, many guests like to experience the French and Spanish Pyrenees whilst on holiday in this location.
