Alastair & Elizabeth welcome you to the Ancient Ecole bed and breakfast in Cazaux Villecomtal, set in peaceful and comfortable surroundings within the Gers, Gascony, Midi Pyrenees region. 

The converted Old School (ancient ecole) being on the top of a hill has magnificent views of the Pyrenees and also stunning surrounding countryside. It is in a quiet village only 4 miles away from the attractive market town of Marciac and 5 miles away from Mirande.

It is within easy access of the many pretty bastide villages of the Gers and the dramatic mountains and villages of the Pyrenees.

We offer 4 double / twin bedrooms, all en suite. A spa room and 2 guest lounges, all our rooms are to a high standard, with attention to detail. We also have large terraces and gardens for the use of our guests.

 

Accommodation

Rooms 75 euros per room including continental breakfast served on the terrace, or in one of the lounges.

 

All bedrooms have many of the original features of the old school, yet comfortable and homely.

 

• 2 Exclusive double bedrooms each open onto the terrace.
• 1 Double room which opens into the beautiful private court yard.
• 1 Twin room upstairs.

 

Satellite TV in each room.

All rooms are en suite all with walk in showers.

Cot and highchair available on request.

Complimentary coffee, tea, water and fruit available throughout the day and evenings.

 

Lounge

Large guests lounge with views of the Pyrenees and rolling hills, doors opening onto the large terrace. Snug with Inglenook fire place, French doors opening onto the large terrace.

 

Terraces

A beautiful large, open terrace with roof, with stunning views of the countryside, Pyrenees and magnificent sunsets. We also have a smaller lower open terrace. The terraces are ideal for relaxing, enjoying the quietness, tranquillity and soaking up the clean country air. Both terraces have plenty of seating and eating area.

 

Enclosed large gardens with tables and chairs.

 

Lunches and evening meals are not included but are available upon request.
